Glutathione is an antioxidant your body makes on its own. It's built from three amino acids - cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine, and it helps protect your cells from oxidative stress and free radicals.

NavioMD works with state-licensed compounding pharmacies to prepare glutathione injections. Compounding is regulated by the FDA and state boards of pharmacy, and the pharmacies we partner with are required to meet both federal and state standards for quality and safety.

Glutathione is given as a subcutaneous injection, into the fatty layer just under the skin. Wipe the injection site and the top of the vial with an alcohol swab, draw up the amount your provider prescribed using the syringe provided, and inject into fatty tissue. Follow the dose and schedule on your prescription label, don't exceed what your provider ordered.

Good spots are areas with a fatty layer under the skin — the back of the upper arm, the abdomen, or the flank (the side of your body between your ribs and hip). Rotate sites to avoid irritation.

Yes, refrigerate your glutathione (and NAD+, if you have it) when it arrives and whenever it's not in use.
